Vredenburg Windfarm proposes the development of a 132kV above-ground electricity sub-transmission line. The proposed sub-transmission line will be used to transmit electrical energy generated by the Boulders Wind Farm (up to 140 megawatt (MW)) to the existing Eskom Fransvlei-Aurora 132kV line for distribution via the national electrical grid network.
You are here-by informed that the Final Basic Assessment Report has been submitted to the decision-making authorities, the Department of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries (DEFF).
Note: The comments, issues and concerns that were received during the commenting period from 29th of October 2019 to the 27th of November 2019 have been incorporated into the Issues and Response Trail (Appendix D6).
