Botha's Lark Species Action Plan

Coastal and Environmental Services (CES) would like to commend BirdLife South Africa (BLSA) and Firefinch for their impactful collaboration in advancing the conservation of the critically endangered Botha’s Lark. 

With an estimated population of just 340 individuals remaining, this initiative is a powerful reminder of both the fragility of our biodiversity and the urgency required to protect it. The concept of recognising 340 supporters through a commemorative mural at the BLSA head office is both symbolic and meaningful, creating a lasting tribute to collective conservation action.
